Teana: Draw This Again Meme! WIP

Hello everyone,

How are you? Are you doing well? I sure hope that you are! ^_^ Well, just a quick note for now. Among other things that I'm currently working on, I wanted to do a piece for myself, rather redo a piece from quite some time ago, using the "Draw This Again Meme!" as seen here:


Many of you are familiar with my rendition of Teana, which is my depiction of Anzu Masaki aka Tea Gardener from Yu-Gi-Oh in the Ancient Egyptian past. When first creating her, I began with the following image:



And though I still have fond memories of this old piece, I've also found that my Teana has evolved in many ways both in appearance and personality. I spoke of this in great detail in a sketch that I completed a few years ago as seen here: . And I plan to elaborate even more so when I complete the above image, but suffice to say, I wanted to try to depict this image using the same pose and facial expressions, but hopefully I'll be able to render them more accurately, the way I see this character today.

As I've said many many times, this character is very special to me, no matter how much time has passed. Though she began simply as the previous incarnation of Tea/Anzu and though she still possesses that trait, to me she means so much more, and though it may take me a lifetime to complete, I still hope to tell her story someday, the way I've envisioned it all of these years....

Anyhow, I'll leave it at that for now, but I'll be sure to speak of the final image when I do ultimately complete it. I may even include more versions of this image as I progress further, so be on the look out! Also, if you have any comments, or even constructive criticism as I continue, please let me know!
